External USB Carrier Box for Removable Drive Modules

The external USB Carrier Box provides means to transfer data between Red Rock Technologies' drive modules and any system with a USB interface. It is an accessory for the following Red Rock Technologies products: 

  • 6U VME USB3 Carrier with Removable Drive Modules 
  • 6U VME SATA Carrier with Removable Drive Modules 
  • 3U VPX SATA Carrier with Removable Drive Module
  • 3U VPX PCIe Carrier with Removable Drive Module

External DVD Carrier with Removable Drive Module

  • DVD interface
  • Options for 1 or 2 drive modules
  • Commercial and extended temperature versions available
  • Rugged removable module design with high reliability connectors rated for 100,000 mating cycles
  • Drive modules use COTS 2.5" drives for wide variety of options and capacities up to 2TB
  • Compatible with all systems with a DVD controller
  • High performance SATA2 transfer rates; backwards compatible with SATA1
  • Current limited
  • No additional software required

3U VPX RTM SATA Adapter

  • For use with Red Rock Technologies 3U VPX SATA products
  • Compatible with OpenVPX system architecture
  • VITA 46, 47, 48, 65 compliant
  • High performance SATA2 (SATA300) transfer rates; compatible with SATA1
  • Compatible with all CPUs with a SATA controller
  • Provides SATA interface internally or externally to VPX chassis
  • Power supplied from VPX backplane

VME P2 SATA Adapters

  • For use with Red Rock Technologies 6U VME SATA products
  • Low-cost way to route signals from back of backplane to the SBC
  • Supports high performance SATA3 transfer rates, backwards compatible with SATA1
